Discipline Engineer - Corrosion
DISCIPLINE ENGINEER – CORROSION is required by our Client in Oil and Gas industry, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Trinidad and Tobago.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized, accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years industry relevant experience is required, of which at least three (3) years was in Corrosion Engineering or related field in the oil & gas or process business.
- Experienced in the design, construction, inspection, maintenance and repair of Process Equipment and systems and the ability to perform Level 1 Fitness for Service assessments and make remedial recommendations.
- Knowledge of plant maintenance philosophies & high level of safety awareness is also required.
- Knowledge of relevant Industry Codes & Standards - ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, ASNT, AWS, NACE etc. and applicable statutory regulations in Trinidad and Tobago would be an asset.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Trinidad and Tobago without requiring a work permit.
