The service holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities that could be necessary during the Life of Project and FEED activities up to the close out.
ACTIVITIES
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The GPI team oversees Ntokon and Ima projects, main drivers being to ensure a cohesive approach across both projects, to mutualize best practices, create synergies towards CAPEX reduction objectives.
Both projects are innovation driven with Conductor Supported Platform and Zapock pipeline concepts to be rolled-out and are developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

JOB DIMENSIONS
The service holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities that could be necessary during the Life of Project and FEED activities up to the close out.
ACTIVITIES
- Is accountable for all matters related to the PVV (Piping, Valves and Vessel) engineering, fit for purpose and with full respect to the Statement Of Requirement with approved changes.
- Represents the COMPANY technical authority for PVV disciplines.
- Prepares and suggests technical content of essential studies to initiate CONTRACTOR action and conformity with state of the art.
- Supervises all subcontracted studies and provides support to other packages with the support of Head Quarters specialist.
- Ensure Piping and valves design choices considering constructability, operability, and flexibility of the facilities.
- Ensure Vessel design choices considering constructability, operability, and flexibility of the facilities. Vessel includes Static and Thermal Equipment (heat exchangers).
- Proposes recommendations on technical deviation requests and keeps updated the documentation related to the PVV discipline.
- Participates to studies required by third parties as required.
- Communicates and applies the H3SE policies of the COMPANY and ensure the engineering is developed accordingly.
- Ensures the correct implementation of COMPANY rules and specifications (CR’s/ GS’s), Project specifications, relevant international standards, and any applicable regulations requirements.
- Get assistance from company's specialists, or third parties, if required, for specific topics
- Coordinate with our affiliate in Nigeria as necessary
- Leads the review of the CONTRACTOR’ key deliverables.
- Provides technical assistance to the project for any technical audits (required by the banks and the insurance companies or Board of Directors, HAZOP, PR…).
- Participate, in coordination, with others to the Inspection and Tests Plans (ITP) and FAT preparation and execution. To attend meetings / FATs with VENDORS where necessary.
- Manages the Static and Thermal Equipment development of engineering specifications and provide quality assurance in the procurement of materials, equipment and services to ensure conformity with sound engineering practice and cost effectiveness.
- Provide support and search for VENDORS assistance if needed.
- Ensure the quality and completeness of PVV designs/packages Final Documentation (deliverables both from the CONTRACTOR and the VENDORS) in compliance with the Project Scope of Work, Specifications and Procedures and allowing an adequate hand-over to the operation.
- Ensures that all PVV equipment are commissioned and started up as per detailed engineering documentation and accordingly to Vendor recommendations. Provide support and search for Vendor assistance if needed.
- Reports potential impact on overall project strategy, planning and target achievement.
- Promotes workshops with the HQ specialist and or CONTRACTOR’s specialist to ensure COMPANY concepts and comments are well understood and quickly integrated in technical documents.
- Guides CONTRACTOR main design selection in a Fit-for-Purpose approach to reach an optimized design. Accordingly, he promotes and follow until approval the deviation request to COMPANY requirements in the main time.
- Ensures through efficient review the good respect of the applicable frame of reference.
- Participates actively to proper interface management with Process, Safety, Rotating, Electrical… studies.
- Reviews and comments the key technical documents of the interfacing disciplines.
- Participates to the Project HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PR.
- Organizes with its counterpart discipline weekly meetings and report highlights to its management with proposed mitigation measures when deemed required.
- Participates to internal engineering weekly meetings. Reporting areas of concern to Engineering Manager.
- Provides its technical inputs to any contractual discussions with CONTRACTOR.
- Contributes to the development of the digital plant though the centric data management when applicable.
- Call for/Participate to interfaces coordination activities and ensure synergies are developed between the different CONTRACTORS.
- Participate to VENDORS evaluation and for LLIs technical evaluation.
- Get knowledge of the Nigerian norms and practices and use it in project when relevant.
- Assist commissioning, start up and Operation team when required. Transfer project knowledge to operations.
- Prepare REX and Lessons Learnt all along the FEED.
- Contribute to personnel skills improvement and encourage knowledge transfer.

Ntokon project
- is a development in OML102 block in Nigeria based on minimalistic wellhead platform tied-back to Ofon OFP2 CPP via 26km pipelines (1 multiphasic production line, 1 water injection line).
- FEED started in October 2024 for 5 months, FID is expected end Q2 2025 and first oil Q2 2027.
- is a development in OML112/117 block in Nigeria based on minimalistic wellhead platform tied-back to BNAG CPF via 23km pipelines (15km offshore, 8km onshore).
- FEED starts in Q1 2025, FID is expected end Q4 2025 and first oil Q1 2028.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: Chartered Static and Thermal Equipment Engineer or equivalent
- Professional Experience: 10-15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Construction field
- Experience in similar position: +10 years
