Upper South Creek Network Project – Supporting Western Sydney’s Growth!

Be part of a large-scale, long-term joint venture between Seymour Whyte and Jacobs, awarded by Sydney Water as an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) project. As the region expands, so does the need for sustainable and resilient water solutions. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively.

The role:

As Planner, you will assist projects and Pre-Contracts teams to optimise construction programs and claims processes.

• Develop programs in Primavera P6 based on construction and contract requirements.
• Regular updates of the contract program to protect rights for delay claims and associated contractual rights.
• Cost and resource load program, produce resource histograms and identify problem areas, and produce cash flow forecasts.
• Run a monthly schedule analysis showing actual versus planned progress during the past period.
• Provide cash flow data for projects using Primavera P6.

About you:  

• Experience (5+ years) within the civil construction industry, preferably both on-site and in Pre-Contracts environments.
• Prior experience formulating construction programmes within a civil construction environment.
• Relevant tertiary or practical qualification.
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced application of Primavera programming software packages.
• Familiarity with lineal construction activities.
