Sixense Solutions Canada Ltd. ("Sixense") is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to assist with developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. (3-Month Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Collaborate closely with our team to understand requirements.
• Maintain and improve the automated test framework to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Analyze test results, and report bugs
• Document test processes, procedures, and results.

Pay Range: $26.44-31.25 per hour 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 1–2 years of experience in QA or software testing automation (internships or College/University projects welcome).
• Basic understanding of automated testing tools, preferably Playwright.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Experience with T-SQL for queries and data manipulation
• Experience with Mercurial/Git
