The GPI team oversees Ntokon and Ima projects, main drivers being to ensure a cohesive approach across both projects, to mutualize best practices, create synergies towards CAPEX reduction objectives.
Both projects are innovation driven with Conductor Supported Platform and Zapock pipeline concepts to be rolled-out and are developed with the objectives to maximize economical results by optimizing the reserves, the schedule, reducing the costs and the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations, with high H3SE requirements and focus.

JOB DIMENSIONS

ACTIVITIES
The Service holder shall:
- Ensure robust and SAFE ONSHORE and OFFSHORE PIPELINE DESIGN in line with CONTRACT specifications, GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS and International STANDAR
- Ensure high quality of all OFFSHORE AND URF pipeline Systems from FEED stage up to operation through, FEED, Detailed Engineering / Qualification / Manufacturing / Fabrication / Construction / installation / Pre-Commissioning activities performed by Contractor, whilst respecting local content requirement.
- Identify and solve technical issues that may rise during all OFFSHORE AND URF PIPELINE activities of the Project.
- Ensure the prompt and efficient dispatch, review and approval of all Detailed Engineering / Qualification / Manufacturing / Fabrication / Construction / installation / Pre-Commissioning documents issued by OFFSHORE AND URF Contractor, in due time, ensuring the adequate level of priority is given.
- Ensure coherence of the OFFSHORE AND URF PIPELINE systems and manage interfaces with other Package Managers of the Project (Onshore, SPS Construction and Operation).
- Ensure that OFFSHORE AND URF PIPELINE Engineering activities are performed in line with Contract requirement and Project Specifications, all within project schedule and budget.
- Ensure that design and qualification outcomes/constraints are adequately considered in due time for Procurement, Manufacturing, Fabrication, installation, and Pre-commissioning, and vice/versa.
- Ensure that HSE requirements are taken into consideration during design.
- Participate in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews, Risk Assessments, etc.), and ensure implementation of recommendations as necessary.
- Liaise with Project QHSES, QAQC, to ensure that the OFFSHORE AND URF scope is designed to be safe, operable, and maintainable.
- Assist QA/QC manager for all quality issues related to OFFSHORE AND URF PIPELINE engineering.
- Monitor Contractor performance against engineering aspects of the Contract and to assist the offshore Package Manager / PCM in management of associated Change Order Requests.
- To initiate and attend all OFFSHORE AND URF PIPELINE engineering meetings, routine and subject specific, to pursuit Contractor’s resolution and close-out of documents.
- Assist with application process for required authorities' approvals.
- Develop effective and constructive relationships with all Contractors representative(s) in a manner that enables a high level of value to be obtained.
- Ensure that agreed project battery limits are adhered to.
- Control and approve, when appropriate, the specifications, requisitions, design procedures, layouts, general arrangements, drawings, P&ID's, installation procedures, installation analyses reports, design reports, etc.
- Responsible for the engineering of all equipment/facilities included in the work package.
- Ensure that all relevant documentation created by the OFFSHORE AND URF Contractor, or its suppliers is reviewed and commented on by the relevant specialists within the appropriate time frame.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards.
- Actively identify best practice (industry, technical, professional, etc.) and encourage an environment in which this is willingly and openly shared.
- Ensure construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up activities for OFFSHORE AND URF is delivered safely as per company requirement

Ntokon project
- is a development in OML102 block in Nigeria based on minimalistic wellhead platform tied-back to Ofon OFP2 CPP via 26km pipelines (1 multiphasic production line, 1 water injection line).
- FEED started in October 2024 for 5 months, FID is expected end Q2 2025 and first oil Q2 2027.
- is a development in OML112/117 block in Nigeria based on minimalistic wellhead platform tied-back to BNAG CPF via 23km pipelines (15km offshore, 8km onshore).
- FEED starts in Q1 2025, FID is expected end Q4 2025 and first oil Q1 2028.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: Chartered Engineer or equivalent
- Professional Experience: 10-15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Construction field
- Experience in similar position: +10 years
