NUVIA UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is fast growing with hybrid opportunities available up and down the country. We're striving to create a multidisciplinary team to offer our clients the best range of talent.

BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferrable.

Join us as an embedded Training Instructor and become part of one of the most exciting and ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK. At Hinkley Point C (HPC), they are constructing two new nuclear reactors – the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations – helping Britain reach Net Zero by supplying low-carbon electricity to around six million homes.

As a Training Instructor, you’ll be part of the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) EPR Project Training Team, supporting the HPC Construction and Commissioning Operations (CommOps) organisation. You’ll play a hands-on role in developing, delivering and managing training that enables individuals and teams to thrive in a high-performance, safety-critical environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a supportive team with a broad mix of skills, experience and knowledge – and to be part of something genuinely meaningful.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and delivering engaging, accurate training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
  • Running classroom-based and simulated training sessions with confidence and clarity
  • Managing training plans and schedules to meet evolving business needs
  • Supporting the transition to operational readiness with robust training preparation
  • Representing the NSA EPR Project Training Team at key meetings and stakeholder forums
  • Working closely with subject matter experts, external providers and internal stakeholders to maintain quality and compliance
  • Keeping clear, up-to-date records of training completion and progress
  • Driving SMART actions and following them through to successful delivery

Who You Are

Whether you’re an experienced trainer or someone with the right attitude looking to develop in this area, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re enthusiastic, proactive and people-focused, we’ll support you to grow your skills and succeed in the role.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings a positive, can-do attitude and wants to make a difference
  • Communicates clearly and adapts their style to suit different audiences
  • Enjoys presenting in front of a group and coaching others to succeed
  • Is organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Is collaborative and solutions-focused
  • Has basic experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote etc.)
  • Can work independently using initiative, and is also a strong team player
  • Has a basic understanding of training delivery
