Site Based Project Manager

As part of our continued growth, our Photovoltaic business unit is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Site-Based Project Manager to oversee the execution of renewable energy projects directly on-site.

Context

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager and working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing solar power plant construction projects directly from the field. You will ensure the delivery of projects from contract signing to final acceptance, with full ownership of project coordination on-site.

Missions

Marketing & Business Development

• Support the identification of new markets and clients
• Contribute to the development of technical and financial proposals
• Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis

Project Execution – On Site

• Lead on-site activities and ensure the daily coordination of teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Manage the execution schedule and ensure compliance with contractual milestones
• Oversee the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards on site
• Monitor project KPIs (Quality, Cost, Time) and ensure adherence to budget and deadlines
• Report progress regularly and lead on-site project reviews
• Act as the key point of contact for all stakeholders on-site: clients, local authorities, suppliers, subcontractors

This is a field-based role and requires regular presence on project sites across Ireland.

Profile : Degree in Engineering or equivalent (Master’s level – Bac +5)

• At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in renewable energy or construction
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, especially in on-site environments
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of working autonomously on the ground
