Location: Milton Park, Oxfordshire - Flexibility on location with travel throughout the South West
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000
Purpose of the job
To provide leadership, direction and strategy at a competent level on one or a number of multi-disciplinary teams delivering projects such that the customer’s requirements are delivered and Nuvia’s performance and profit margins are met. Manage project start up and delivery and to meet time cost, quality, safety requirements and manage risk.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Safe delivery of the project to quality, time and cost
- Management of all contractual issues arising from the project, in accordance with the appropriate procedures and within their delegated level of authority
- Producing, updating, progressing, monitoring, recovery and issue of the Project Programme
- Management, control, forecast and monitoring of all costs associated with the project
- Monitoring site progress against planned work
- Ensuring that all project risks are identified and properly managed by owning and maintaining the project risk register
- Producing, reviewing and updating the PIP
- Ensuring that the correct technical input is incorporated into each work package and that all technical documentation is approved by the relevant Technical Council
- Ensuring that the scope of the work packages is adequately defined
- Establishing and managing a system of recording, tracking and progressing all project documentation.
- Ensuring that the interfaces between different groups contributing to the project are correctly monitored and managed.

Occupational Skills and Knowledge
- A qualification within either an engineering or related field.
- Project Management related qualification
Duties and Requirements
- Demonstrates competent professional standards of behaviour and compliance with legal and technical requirements.
- Demonstrates competent commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate with Clients and improve Nuvia’s commercial position within contracts.
- 3 years’ experience in Project Management as a Project / Senior Project Engineer.
- Demonstrable experience in engineering project delivery, with demonstrable competence gained in a project management position.
- Can deliver project management expertise, leadership, problem solving and conflict management skills to a competent level.
- A full UK driver’s license
Desirable:
- Experience Bidding and Managing Projects within the UK Nuclear Industry
- Experience Bidding for and Managing On-site Installation Projects
- Experience Managing Blue Collar Ops Teams
- Experience with Passive Fire Protection (PFP)
