Legal Counsel F/M

VINCI Concessions is currently looking for a Legal Counsel (F/M) to join its legal department.
You will be involved in developing or acquiring, implementing and monitoring the execution of concession and other forms of public infrastructure projects throughout their life cycle. The lawyer will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to each project, involving the business development department, the structured finance department and/or the project management.
Your key tasks include:
- Legal management of public tenders and M&A transactions, including legal risk analysis, structuring and negotiation of contractual arrangements, including concession agreements, consortium agreements, shareholders’ agreements, operation and maintenance contracts, financing and security documentation), management of regulatory approval procedures (anti-trust, foreign investment control, state aid, etc.) ;
- Legal advice in relation to a portfolio of infrastructure projects in construction and operation, throughout their lifecycle, including refinancing operations and dispute management ;
- Selection and management of external legal counsel ;
- Contribution to legal knowledge management and in-house training initiatives.
The profile we are looking for :
- French Master 2 or equivalent foreign law degree, preferably in business law or public economic law, with excellent academic credentials ;
- Minimum 6 years of working experience in an in-house legal department of an internationally active company and/or with a major law firm, ideally in the area of construction, real estate, energy, financing or operation of infrastructure ;
- Fluency in spoken and written English (level C1-C2).
Highly beneficial:
- LLM degree or similar qualification from a reputable foreign law school ;
Business or public administration degree ;
- Fluency in French and in at least one additionial foreign language, in addition to English, particularly Spanish.
