As part of an Oil & Gas maintenance and engineering project, we are looking for a Spare Parts Team Leader.

The position will report to the Project Manager and will be based in Abu Dhabi, under a resident onshore status.

The Spare Parts Team Leader will be responsible for managing spare parts activities, coordinating the dedicated team, and implementing the spare parts strategy for the project.

Main Functions

• To manage the spare parts team

• Determine the list of “Main equipment” for which spare parts dossiers will be established. Following thelist of the of “Main equipment” (or Main Tag), establish the list of the spare parts list per equipment(Rotating equipment, Static equipment ,Instrumentation , valves, Electrical and electronic Equipment ..)

• Prepare a spare parts recommendation strategy document

• Verification Of The Commissionning/Start Up, Capital Spare Parts

• Drawing Up Of Optimized Spir Lists

• Drawing Up Of Templates for Material Masters ( SAP/ MM)

• Issuance Of The Purchase Requests

• To report Progress, issue to project Manager ,

• To prepare Weekly and Monthly report regarding spare part Activities

Qualifications required

• The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

• Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent 3 to 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,

• A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations

• SAP/R3 experience and know-how

• Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,

• Working language: Fluent English

• Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability.
