We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer – Electrical to join our team and take charge of maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical equipment and infrastructure. If you have a strong foundation in electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance — this is your opportunity to power up your career!
Role & Responsibilities
- Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical maintenance within the oil and gas (onshore/offshore) or refinery or petrochemical chemical Industry.
- Experience in planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, Turnarounds, and shutdowns
- Proven expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems in hazardous areas.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for scheduling, planning, and tracking maintenance activities.
- Experience in generating and analyzing maintenance reports using SAP.
- Familiarity with reviewing electrical design drawings, specifications, and standards.
- In-depth knowledge of safety standards in oil and gas (e.g., HSE regulations).
- Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing electrical safety programs.
- Transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and UPS systems.
- Generators, motors, and lighting systems.
- Electrical systems in hazardous areas compliant with ATEX/IECEx standards.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
