Project Engineer- ICT

Axians Qatar, the operational entity of Cegelec Qatar (a subsidiary of VINCI Energies Oil & Gas), was established in 2020 to meet the growing demands of the Qatari market in telecommunications, IoT cybersecurity, and industrial networks.

Our mission? To design, integrate, and maintain essential digital solutions for industrial infrastructure and public utilities. We focus on security, connectivity, and performance in everything we do.

 With the support of the Axians network (VINCI Energies), Axians Qatar delivers reliable, agile, and locally adapted solutions, while embracing a dynamic approach to innovation and sustainable performance.

Role

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the ICT sector
  • Own the end-to-end proposal development, client presentations, and market research
  • Manage awarded projects from initiation to completion
  • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables across internal teams
  • Monitor project progress and report on milestones and KPIs
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations


Profile 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in the ICT sector
  • Energetic and proactive, with a strong ability to identify growth opportunities and build strategic partnerships
  • Committed to transitioning into project management, with proven capability to lead projects from initiation to completion
  • Comfortable working on-site and managing field teams effectively
  • Knowledge in CRM tools, proposal development, an advantage
