Senior Draftsman, Draftswoman
What you will do:
The Senior Draftsman/Draftswoman will be responsible for the production and coordination of technical drawings and plans for construction projects. While actively contributing to drafting activities, the role also serves as a liaison between the Drafting team, Method Manager, Engineers, and Construction teams to ensure that drawings are accurate, constructible, and delivered in accordance with project requirements and schedules.
Concretely, your tasks will be:
- Act as the primary interface between the Drafting team, Method Manager, Design Engineers;
- Lead and mentor drafters, providing technical guidance and support to develop team capabilities;
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between multidisciplinary teams;
- Create drawings from scratch, based on engineering inputs, site conditions, and project specifications;
- Draw site installations with logistics and liftings operations;
- Prepare drawings for utilities, traffic, dewatering drawings;
- Develop temporary works drawings, including formwork details;
- Ensure drawings are accurate and correspond to project requirements;
- Revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope;
- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce high-quality plans;
- Prepare drawings related to earthworks, civil works, TBM and SEM tunnelling sequences, and interfaces;
- Produce drawings and technical inputs for civil works, including casting sequences and reinforcement design requirements;
- Prepare excavation sequence drawings involving secant piles, soldier piles, tension piles, rock anchors, struts, and walers;
- Provide drafting support for permit applications and approvals.
Your skills:
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering or related field;
- 5 - 10 years of experience on a construction site;
- 10 - 15 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit;
- Strong ability to produce detailed technical drawings entirely from scratch;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Ability to interact confidently with engineers, managers, and highly qualified technical professionals;
- Rigor, ability to learn constantly;
- Focused on resolving problems and providing recommendations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
