Construction Manager

Construction (MEP) Manager required by our Client, an Oil and Gas EPC Contractor, to be assigned  in Jakarta, Indonesia  

DURATION           permanent, residential status
SCHEDULE           Monday – Friday

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • • Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time and quality constraints.
    • Liaise with the Project Director to ensure adequate labor and sub-contract resource is available on site.
    • Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities, ensuring all equipment on site are fit for purpose.
    • Liaise with the Project Director for the requisition of all materials and oversee the deliveries in line with the construction program and procurement schedule.
    • Supervise, manage, and motivate site construction teams including effective management of productivity and sub-contractor activities on site in order to meet key milestones of the master schedule
    • Ensure workmanship and material standards are met as per specifications, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.
    • Attend all necessary site meetings
    • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity to enable traceability.
    • Conducting safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Contractor’s corporate Policy
    • Maintain quality control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

✓ 15+ years of proven relevant experience in managing large project electrical construction (minimum of 300-350 people)
✓ Good understanding of MEP trades
✓ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred.
