At Seymour Whyte, we're looking for an experienced Submissions Manager to join our National Pre-Contracts team in Brisbane. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in securing some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects by creating high-quality submissions that showcase who we are and what we do best.

About the Role

As a Submissions Manager, you'll lead the preparation, coordination and delivery of tender submissions, expressions of interest, award submissions and other business development materials. You'll collaborate with technical experts, project teams and business leaders to develop persuasive, well-structured submissions that are professional, compliant and tailored to client requirements.

No two days are the same. One day you might be leading a tender kick-off workshop, and the next you're shaping a winning project story, mentoring junior team members or developing innovative ways to improve our submissions process.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the end-to-end development of tender submissions, EOIs and award submissions
• Coordinating input from technical, operational and commercial stakeholders
• Writing, editing and refining content to ensure it is clear, compelling and client-focused
• Ensuring submissions are delivered on time, to a high standard and without errors
• Producing marketing collateral, corporate content and communication materials
• Maintaining and improving submission content libraries and knowledge management systems
• Supporting, mentoring and onboarding junior team members
• Driving continuous improvement in submission strategy, content and presentation

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who combines exceptional writing ability with strong project coordination skills.

You'll ideally bring:

• Extensive experience preparing and managing submissions, tenders or complex documents
• Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to translate technical information into engaging, easy-to-understand content
• Experience working across multiple deadlines and competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
• Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or a similarly complex industry would be highly regarded
