10/09/2026Menard is currently active in Indonesia and has a yard with various equipment used in the region. We are hiring a motivated and talented Electrician/Technician to join our team. Mission and key responsibilities are as below:
Mission:
To ensure the reliability and safe operation of cranes and heavy equipment by performing electrical inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role works closely with the Mechanic to minimize equipment downtime and ensure all electrical and safety systems function properly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the electrical systems of cranes and heavy equipment.
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and upgrade all wiring, fixtures, control equipment, motors, pumps, and automated systems according to proper standards and specifications on mains and mobile equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and repair or replace faulty electrical components, fuses, switches, sensors, motors and actuators in machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures AC & DC malfunctions, and power outages in equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with Mechanics on faults involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics systems.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, and schematics to understand wiring layouts and equipment functionality.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, such as power outages, and faults to minimize operational disruptions.
- Record maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts used, and equipment conditions.
- Comply with company safety procedures and maintain tools and the work area properly.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and good manual dexterity
- Awareness of safety protocols and electrical codes
- Experience with automated systems and control equipment.
- Computer literate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering or minimum High School / Vocational School with a relevant certificate.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in electro- mechanical, electro – hydraulic systems and circuitry
- Experience on Gensets, Heavy construction and foundation machinery
- Excellent verbal and written command of English.
