DRILLING COMPLETION SUPERINTENDENT is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Contractor, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Paramaribo, Suriname.

STARTING DATE:      Paramaribo, Suriname
DURATION:                Min 2-years
SCHEDULE:               Rotational (4 weeks on/4 weeks off)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical:

• Provide operational support for asset drilling and completion activities
• Review drilling & wells programs, ensure operations performed in line with Program, review Management of Change when required.
• Review and distribute reports on daily basis.
• Maintain permanent communication with offshore, lead daily calls
• Liaise with logistics to ensure equipment readiness.
• Liaise with Service Companies to ensure operational readiness (equipment and personnel).
• Participate in lessons learnt and performance optimization process.

Management and interfaces:

• Manage, motivate, evaluate and develop the offshore personnel within asset
• Review personnel needs and coordinate personnel planning within the asset.

HSE

• Cascade Department HSE objectives; ensure that drilling and/or completion/workover operations are conducted in compliance with existing rules, safety and environmental protection, optimization of costs and time
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and company QHSE standards and bridging document.
• Prepare rig related derogations and Bridging document accordingly
• Closely follow up rig action list to ensure all identified anomalies are clearly identified and closed out in shortest possible timeline
• In the course of the emergency response is the part of IMT operations section
  

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent), with more than 5 years of DCSI experience.
• Good knowledge of offshore and specifically deepwater environment.
