Project Quality Manager
18/11/2025We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.
We are mobilising for a major iconic project in Perth that involves engineering design, earthworks, roadworks, buildings, and services.
As Project Quality Manager, your main goal will be to lead the development, implementation, and upkeep of the Quality Management System for the Perth Entertainment and Sporting Precinct project, while supporting the National Quality Manager in enhancing Seymour Whyte’s broader Corporate QMS.
About the role:
- Champion quality excellence by implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Project Quality Management System (QMS) across the PESP project.
- Lead documentation and compliance – oversee Quality Plans, ITPs, Method Statements, and ensure all subcontractor and supplier documentation meets required standards.
- Drive performance and improvement through audits, inspections, and data analysis to identify trends, manage nonconformances, and develop effective action plans.
- Empower the team by promoting quality awareness, delivering training, and mentoring Quality Engineers, Advisors, and Document Controllers to build a high-performing culture.
- Stay ahead of the curve by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, industry standards, and innovation in quality management systems and practices.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated significant experience as a quality assurance professional for engineering and/or civil construction, ideally as a standalone quality professional on complex, infrastructure projects.
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications.
- Working knowledge of client standards and specifications.
- Experience in civil construction and Quality Management Systems.
- Intermediate computer literacy – (Microsoft Suite).
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
We have a range of additional benefits available for our employees:
- Health & Wellbeing – discounted health insurance, seasonal vaccinations, wellness discounts, fertility benefit and employee assistance program (EAP).
- Time for life / Work life balance – birthday leave, purchased leave program, paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements.
- Financial wellbeing – competitive remuneration, annual performance bonuses, salary continuance insurance and employee share program.
- Career development – training, mentoring programs, and leadership development program.
Many of our projects are located in regional areas, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
Seymour Whyte is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, including veterans. Our commitment to an equitable construction industry extends to an inclusive culture that embraces our differences and gives everyone the opportunity to grow and be equally valued. We're unified in our direction toward having a workplace that is balanced and fair for all.

Warning to applicants about false job offers and fraudulent proposals
The VINCI group wishes to warn applicants about the online publication of false job offers for contracts abroad in the name of VINCI group companies. The authors of these offers fraudulently use the corporate names, brands and logos of VINCI group companies to deceive applicants, inducing them to reveal personal information and to pay money to obtain alleged services. Under no circumstances do VINCI group companies ask for candidates' bank details or any payment of money as part of their recruitment process. We therefore strongly recommend that applicants check the authenticity of job offers before responding to them.
