Responsibilities

  • Execute and continuously refine the procurement strategy as defined by the Project Management Team (PMT), tailoring it to the specific needs of each package.
  • Support package procurement engineers in engaging directly or via expediting agencies with key suppliers and EPC contractors to ensure timely delivery of vendor packages.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement trends across all packages to identify performance patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to management highlighting successes and challenges within the procurement process.
  • Evaluate vendor performance throughout the project execution phase, synthesize findings, and provide insights into market conditions.

Profile

  • Engineering Degree or Masters
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of which: 5 years general upstream oil and gas experience
  • Experience in similar position (years): min 5 in a large oil and gas organization
  • Familiar with project procedures, Management System standards and guidelines.
